02 / The process
We’re interested in the atmosphere of a place: how people gather, how the light changes, and the details that give each setting its character.
We begin by getting to know you and your plans. We talk through the setting, the people involved, and what you’d like the photographs or film to do.
This gives us a sense of what needs particular attention and where to leave room for the unexpected.
We work attentively, offering direction when it’s useful and leaving space for things to unfold.
For events, we work with the schedule and the other people involved. For portraits and brand work, we make room to try things, adjust, and find what feels right.
That attention continues in the edit. We select and finish photographs with care for light, color, and consistency.
For films, we return to the images and recorded sound, finding the pace and shape in the material itself.

We photograph and film weddings and celebrations, including bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, and birthdays. We make portraits, including senior portraits, and take on brand commissions and corporate events.
No experience is needed. We’ll explain anything that calls for your attention and offer direction when it helps. We’ll give you time to settle in and keep the process straightforward.
